ACCESSIBILITY
All restrooms on the grounds are wheelchair accessible, and ramps give access to all buildings.
Elevators are located in the lobby of Broadbent Arena and on both the east and west concourses of Freedom Hall.
There are also disabled/elderly drop-off points designated at the southwest corner of the South Wing and the northeast corner of the N lot.
Special wheelchair seating should be requested when purchasing concert or horse show tickets.

For accessible seating in Cardinal Stadium, patrons should contact an usher and they will be directed to the accessible seating area.

BABY CARE FACILITIES
Facilities for nursing mothers and diaper changing are identified by "Baby Changing Station" signs on restrooms
in the South Wing and West Hall lobbies, on the first floor of Freedom Hall, and on the east and west sides of the
second floor of Freedom Hall. The "Rock 'N' Relax Baby Care Center" is located in the South Wing Kidz Biz area and
is sponsored by Baptist Hospital East and the Louisville Metro Health Department.
BICYCLE POLICY
Bicycle racks are provided at all gates. There is no charge for bicycle parking and bike riders must provide their own locks. Gate 4 on Crittenden Drive is designated as the most accessible for bicycle riders.
BUS & TAXI SERVICE
TARC buses will run a special Fair route August 15-25 departing every 70 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. Buses can be boarded at Fifth and Market Streets downtown. Buses displaying the sign "2 Fairgrounds" will unload passengers not
attending the Fair outside Gate 4 on Crittenden Drive. For those attending the Fair, buses load and unload in parking lot "H" near Gate 4. Additional TARC service is also available using Routes 2 and Route 18.
Taxis pick up and deliver behind Ramp 3 of Cardinal Stadium in the J Lot. Passengers pay regular State Fair gate
admission (except on promotional days).
CHECK CASHING/MONEY MACHINES
No personal checks are cashed on the grounds. There are six ATMs on the grounds.
One is located outside the West Hall lobby, one is in the South Wing B lobby, one is inside the front entrance
of Freedom Hall, one in the Broadbent Arena concourse, and there are two located on the Thrillway. Fairgoers should plan on bringing
plenty of cash for the day. Due to the large volume of use during the fair, funds in the ATMs can occasionally be diminished.
CONCERT GATES OPEN
Entrance for concerts in Cardinal Stadium and Freedom Hall (free and paid concerts) open around 6:30 p.m. or approximately an hour and a half before the starting time of the event.
FIRST AID
Stations are staffed by the American Red Cross and are located on the east foyer of Freedom Hall
and on the second level of Cardinal Stadium during all events. A First Aid station is also open just off the
South Wing B lobby from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. A First Aid station with an EMS unit is
located outdoors adjacent to the west end of the West Hall and is open 24 hours a day during the Fair.

The booths are stationed around the fair grounds and are staffed with experienced personnel ready

LOST & FOUND ITEMS
All items found and turned in to State Fair staff will be taken to the Kentucky Exposition
Center Security Office (entrance next to the Ticket Office). It is open 24 hours a day throughout the Fair.

THE LOST CHILD CENTER
Sponsored and staffed by the Kentucky State Police, a Lost Child Center is located at the Kentucky State
Police command post across from the Midway on Pavilion Dr. It is open 24 hours a day during the Fair.
Should you be separated from your child, once found he or she will be taken to the command post.
PAGING
The paging system is only broadcast to outdoor areas of the fair.
Pages can only be made for medical emergencies. We recommend you designate a meeting area
(such as Freddy Farm Bureau on the front porch of Freedom Hall) before coming to the fair in the
event you get separated from your party.
POLICE
Kentucky State Police are stationed outdoors adjacent to the west end of the West Hall by
the First Aid station and EMS. The Kentucky Exposition Center Security Office is located in
Freedom Hall (entrance next to the Ticket Office). Call (502) 367-5360.
ROADSIDE HELP
Handled by Kentucky State Police. They are located adjacent to the west end of the
West Hall by the Thrillway First Aid station, or call the KEC switchboard at (502) 367-5000.
RV PARKING
Overnight RV parking is allowed only in KEC Lot F behind Cardinal Stadium. Parking is $20 per night.
Electric and water hookups are not available. Sites are first come, first served.

STATE FAIR RAM TRUCKS SHUTTLES
Rides are free on the State Fair Shuttles. The public can board from several "Shuttle Stop" locations on the grounds.
There is only one shuttle route for the entire grounds. Times: approximately 9 a.m. - midnight daily.
Shuttles run every 15-30 minutes.
SMOKING AREAS
The Kentucky Exposition Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is only allowed outdoors.
TICKET OFFICE
Tickets for all paid concerts and evening performances of the World's Championship Horse Show can be purchased at the ticket office.
Entrance is located next to the main entrance to Freedom Hall. Hours: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
WHEELCHAIR/STROLLER RENTALS
Wheelchairs can be rented from the We Serve Concessions kiosk outside on the South Wing C sidewalk and at the west side of the front circle. 2013 prices are
$12 for wheelchairs, $10 for strollers (or $16 for two), $14 for wagons, and $50 for electric scooters (or $13/hour).
All prices cover all rentals for the entire day. A driver's license is required for all rentals.
WiFi
Complimentary WiFi is available this year the North, East and South Wings during the Kentucky State Fair. To enable wireless on your device, open Network Connections and select the network KY STATE FAIR 2013. Then lauch your internet browser. Patrons will be directed to the KY State Fair website.
