The Kentucky State Fair has a long tradition of showcasing and rewarding
Kentuckians who excel in various fields of hobbies and trade. Thousands of awards are bestowed
annually in categories such as fine arts, crafts, and agriculture.
The largest State Fair competitive entry department continues to be agriculturally-based, an acknowledgment to
Kentucky’s largest industry and esteemed history.
