Never has multi-tasking been so comedic with a theatrical smorgasbord of juggling, unicycling, equilibristics, miming, puppetry, human tricks and audience participation.

Kenya Safari Acrobats - Kentucky State Fair Family Stage
Non-stop thrill of incredible human pyramids, fire limbo dancing, and other gravity-defying tricks.

Kid's Celebration - Kidz Biz Stage sponsored by Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom
Interactive family event combining music and games that help parents and kids communicate about issues including drug and alcohol abuse, respect, honesty, kindness, self-esteem and safety.

Miller’s Border Collies - West Wing   
Trained dogs execute herding techniques on command – in the new DAD’S Pet Care West Wing Show Ring. (No shows Aug. 24 & 30)

Join skillful street performers as they wander through the Fair's crowds creating a high-energy, unique beat by using water jugs, stools and pots and pans as instruments.

Statue Viva
Watch a stone-faced artist stand expressionless, striking famous poses from the past. But observe closely because all of a sudden, the statue comes to life. Sponsored by The Wii Sports Resort Summer Tour 2009.

Balloon Masters
Set your sights high for these larger-than-life balloon creations. Watch as professional balloon sculptors turn everyday balloons into an oversized fun and imaginative backdrop. Sponsored by TicketExchange by Ticketmaster.

C-SPAN Civics Bus
The 45-foot long bus, housing a fully-functioning news studio, serves to educate students and the general public about the importance of voting and civic engagement. Thursday, August 27 only.

Gourmet Garden
Culinary stage featuring cooking demonstrations and contests, including The Royal Prestige Cookware Cast Iron Chef Competition. Sponsored by Kentucky Beef Producers.

IGX Adrenaline Jam Tour
Interactive, dynamic video game exhibit offering the most popular Sony, Xbox and Nintendo games.

Military Exhibits
Check out U.S. military vehicles and equipment on display along with a rock climbing wall from the Kentucky Army National Guard. Presented- by the Kentucky Army National Guard.

Representative Farm Animal Display
Interactive display of nine types of animals, representing the various divisions of livestock competitive entries.

South Wing C Family Stage
Traveling national acts take the stage to make audiences laugh and stand in awe. Local dancers and singers add to the family talent on the stage.   

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Blue Ribbon Stage
Arts and crafts, hobbies, gardening, and home improvement seminars. 

Trial by Jury
Be a juror, debate and decide a real life court case. Presented by the Kentucky Justice Association.

SPECIALTY AREAS

Commercial Exhibit Area
South Wing C will feature 350 booths and a huge selection of merchandise for a wide variety of tastes. Shop through the aisles for anything from jewelry and State Fair souvenirs to hot tubs and vinyl siding.

Competitive Entry Departments
The fair’s 30 competitive entry departments and thousands of categories attract more than 40,000 entries ranging from fish and fowl to flowers and fruit. Entries and blue ribbon winners remain on display throughout the Fair.

Educational Exhibit
The Kentucky State Fair’s educational program is spotlighting a new thematic exhibition in 2009, "Explore Kentucky - From Lincoln to Luthiers" presented by the Kentucky Historical Society. Get a taste of the commonwealth’s arts and military history, as well as the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History, Old State Capitol and Kentucky Military History Museum.

Equine Exhibit
In front of the North Wing horse stalls, hundreds of square feet of commercial exhibit space feature all things equine from jewelry and halters to outfits and art pieces. After a long day of shopping, sit down at the Saddlebred Café and Lounge to re-energize your horsepower.

Health Horizons
Lifestyle education, free health screenings and interactive exhibits from Kentucky’s medical community. Sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Essence Healthcare, Kentucky Cabinet for Health & Family ServicesU of L Health Care.

Heritage Hall
Music, games, dancing, contests, bingo and singing for seniors daily.

Kidz Biz
Features daily entertainment from comedians, magicians, musicians and illusionists of all kinds. The area also includes: the Rock & Relax Baby Care Center, Safetytown and the Kentucky Army National Guard’s Obstacle Course. Sponsored by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, Kentucky State Police, Kentucky Army National Guard, Louisville Metro Police Department, US Marshals Service, Louisville Metro Public Health & Wellness and Baptist Hospital East.

Main Street Kentucky
Interactive exhibits celebrating Kentucky government, arts, education, agriculture and more.
