When big isn't big enough? Pumpkins weighing more than 1,000 pounds are eligible for this competition. On the West Hall porch Friday, August 16 at 11:30 a.m.
 
Little Miss & Mister Kentucky County Fairs Pageant
Little Miss and Mister contest winners from each county participate in a pageant contest for kids ages 5-8 in the Little Miss & Mister Kentucky. Located in the South Wing B, Room 102-104.

Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation's Annual Gospel Quartet Contest
The Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation's Annual Gospel Quartet Contest allows one winning quartet to spread its wings and go to the National Gospel Quartet Contest. Located on the Select Kentuckiana Chevy Dealers Family Stage in South Wing C Lobby Thursday, August 22 at 9:15 a.m.

The Mrs. Wyndall Smith Quilt Award Presentation is an award presented in the category "First Quilt". Located on the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Blue Ribbon Stage in the South Wing B lobby Friday, August 16 at 10:45 a.m.
'Somethin to Crow About' Rooster Crowing Contest
Nature's alarm clock competes for "Best Rooster" in the Rooster Crowing Contest. The rooster that crows the most times in 15 minutes is declared the winner. Located in the Pavilion, with Finals Sunday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m.
