Gourmet Garden, located in South Wing
A Lobby, features demonstrations by fine chefs, caterers and bakers from across the
state in addition to competitions and other special events. Culinary
delights are showcased during the different cooking contests held
on the state-of-the-art Gourmet Garden cooking stage. The Gourmet
Garden is sponsored by Kentucky Beef Producers.

Cooking Competitions
Information on entry fees, judging
standards and rules for all of the culinary contests during the
2008 Kentucky State Fair is available in the Premium Catalog. The
deadline to enter a contest is July 1. Contestants will
receive fair tickets in the mail. Registration the day of the contest
will start one half hour before the judging starts.
