The Royal Prestige Cookware Cast-Iron Chef Competition - 1:30 p.m. dailyParticipating chefs will take their competitive strategy and creativity to the Gourmet Garden kitchen for The Cast-Iron Chef Competition presented by Royal Prestige Cookware. The chefs will be given a main ingredient and the heat will be on to see whose dish the panel of judges will choose. The emcee will pick three audience members during the 30-minute competition to act as judges, and they will be asked to rate the dish based on creativity, taste and preparation.

During the competition, an array of prizes will be given to the fairgoers who answer the emcee’s questions correctly about Kentucky agriculture. Plus, a daily prize will be awarded to one lucky fairgoer. To win prizes, fairgoers must register at the Kentucky Agriculture Producers’ Gourmet Garden prior to the competition. Fairgoers must be present during the Cast-Iron Chef competition to win.
